Since 2013, the nature-loving route of Livadouria has been organized in the Apokoronas region of Chania. This scenic path traverses through the villages of Tsivaras, Agios Pavlos, Douliana, and Gavalochori, all situated within an area of natural beauty. Livadouria boasts a 6-kilometer trail attracting runners both locally and internationally.

At the heart of the route lies the cavernous temple of Saint John the Rigologos in Douliana. Douliana stands out as a jewel among Crete's villages, characterized by remarkable architecture and picturesque buildings in a nature-endowed area. The trail winds through ancient olive groves, forests of cypress trees, pine trees, oak trees, and myrtles.
